Cerberus for macOS

Cerberus is available as a public macOS beta for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 14 or later. The release is signed with the c6s Developer ID and notarized by Apple before it enters the public Homebrew tap.

Install with Homebrew

brew install --cask c6shq/tap/cerberus

Homebrew installs the app as /Applications/Cerberus.app. Upgrade later with:

brew upgrade --cask cerberus

Verify the release

codesign --verify --deep --strict --verbose=2 /Applications/Cerberus.app
xcrun stapler validate /Applications/Cerberus.app
spctl --assess --type execute --verbose=2 /Applications/Cerberus.app

The first launch starts at account entry and requires an invited account. Production builds contain no account-free demo or fixture workspace. Vault secrets remain encrypted and require an explicit unlock before reveal or copy.

In Settings, configure automatic locking, clipboard clearing, lock-on-sleep, and lock-on-Mac-lock behavior. You can also inspect the CLI installation state and copy the stdio MCP configuration.

Do not install builds offered outside the official c6shq/tap Cask or a c6s release page.
